Welcome

I'm so glad you came by. I hope I'll be able to keep things interesting so you'll want to come back for a visit - I love the company!

I have many flowers I will be showing pictures of and a lot of critters that come around looking for a handout. But they give as much as they take since they're so much fun to watch. I always try to have my camera handy hoping for a shot better than the last one.

It's Hard To Say . . .

what you might see on a quick run to the store around here. The other day I happen to look in my rear view mirror and there was a herd of elk in a field. So I buzzed into a driveway and when I looked up here was Mt. Rainier just glistening off to my left.
A closer shot in all it's majestic beauty.
And straight ahead in front of me was Mt. St. Helens doing the same thing.
Now that I got those pictures I head back down to see the elk for a minute.
Ya might see some feathered friends too.
Or maybe a buffalo . . .
Hard to say what a trip to the store might bring. But the funniest and strangest thing I ever saw living down the road from us is the camel. You can see the silly old thing making faces at me if you click here.

  2. Great shots! I love the mountains when they are covered in snow- just beautiful. We moved from Portland to Redmond recently and we see the Sisters mountains in all their glory out our front window! I love it.

    Happy almost spring to you!

  3. You have the best scenery and on an everyday kind of basis! When I go to the grocery store, I don't see mountains or elk or camels, oh my....(I do see buffalo, though, our neighbor raises them) Your views are astounding!

  8. Beautiful pictures of both mountains! I see Rainier on clear days on my way to the grocery store, but from a very different angle. It's so interesting to see it from your perspective. I never see elk, though. Or buffalo. Or a camel.

  10. The mountains look so beautiful dress in white. What a lovely backdrop you have there. So many elk running around too. I hope they do not find your garden. LOL! That would be a disaster. Have a wonderful weekend!

  14. Just living in the shadow of those magnificent mountains would be such a joy then to throw in the elk?! I might just have to pack up and move to Washington one of these days. It's gorgeous!
