Welcome

I'm so glad you came by. I hope I'll be able to keep things interesting so you'll want to come back for a visit - I love the company!

I have many flowers I will be showing pictures of and a lot of critters that come around looking for a handout. But they give as much as they take since they're so much fun to watch. I always try to have my camera handy hoping for a shot better than the last one.

Blooms Covered For Fertilizer Friday

It's Fertilizer Friday and everyone is flaunting their flowers so when ya get to the bottom here be sure to link over to Tootsies place and see what she and everyone else is up to.

I can't believe I actually have a Cactus (Christmas or Thanksgiving who knows) blooming again. My Mothers' bloom more than once - not mine!

Outside I finally had a Hellebore showing some life.
And some pink Violets blooming.

But now they're covered with white stuff!

Thinking about cratching his way to the suet. It disappeared after this picture but now today there is twice as much snow covering it.
The sun is coming through the trees.
And look at this beautiful blue sky - but don't be fooled, this snow isn't going anywhere at 18 degrees.

It's Fertilizer Friday so be sure to go over and visit our hostess Tootsie after you leave here and see what's blooming in everyone's gardens! And while you’re there why not join in on the fun.

  1. Hi RG!Silly old snow. It is beautiful with the sun shining on the pines though. That is a pretty cactus. I like the pink blooms better than my old red one.I hope your hellebores will be aright. Have a great weekend and stay out of the cold.

  4. Hello, lady. It is cold here too, 30, but thankfully the sun has melted most of our snow (only a couple inches), but tonight best button up... they say low teens here in the valley.
Love your photo of the sunlight hitting the fir trees. Have a wonderful weekend.

  5. Hi RG,

At least you have something green showing. So far, we just have cold, snow, rain and some grass peeking out and a few daffodills poking through on the south side of my home.

  6. Looks like you got quite a bit of snow down there. This weather is driving me crazy, doesn't it know I've got things to do? :) Looking forward to it "warming up" into the 40's.

  7. The snow and the cold are very frustrating, but that deep blue sky is quite beautiful. And the sun on the fir trees is magical. Thanks for posting your flowers from before the snow fell. I keep thinking I should get a Christmas cactus.
