I'm so glad you came by. I hope I'll be able to keep things interesting so you'll want to come back for a visit - I love the company!
I have many flowers I will be showing pictures of and a lot of critters that come around looking for a handout. But they give as much as they take since they're so much fun to watch. I always try to have my camera handy hoping for a shot better than the last one.
There are no gardening mistakes, only experiments. ~ Janet Kilburn Phillips
Dear Rain Gardener, This sequence of very attractive images makes a delighful story and one which one could well see appealing to children. I very much like the apparent simplicity of just the birds and the grass. Lovely!
Thanks for all the great comments. I do love my birds and critters. Although the critters can be a pain in the bumper most of the time they are very entertaining and oh so cute!
How sweet! I know the chipmunks drive you crazy, but really they are so much cuter than squirrels. The squirrels have been very busy around here lately digging around in the garden. I've noticed more birds lately too, but none as cute as the ones you have. It feels like fall has arrived, I've been pulling up some of my summer annuals and anxious to start planting bulbs, etc.
These are the most wonderful photos RG ~ you're so lucky to have been that to capture that moment. I have never had a Grosbeak in my yard (or a chipmunk) so that makes them all the better. btw, feel free to make your own garden postcards. I was inspired by another site (linked in my first postcard post). I love to see your vintage treasures anyway.
I've never seen a grosbeak around here, what a cute little scene! I thought I snuck a picture of my bicolor buddleia on my blog, but I'll do it again soon just so you can see. Yes, it's lavender with orange in the middle of each flower. Small now, but I hope it gets huge like my other buddleia.
I love, love love it. I've been away too long and come back to this!! The chipmunk is just adorable and the Grosbeaks with their curious head cocking just crack me up, not to mention your perfect interpretational captions, a very fun post!
I can’t believe that you capture this kind of picture. It is really amazing and it is really meaningful! You can see that this is how wonderful life is. I wished that I can also capture like this one.
